This tool will make impressions of RF transparent front covers which will be cut out into three sections, loaded onto a suction jig and then post processed on a five axis CNC to cut the profile and machine the fixing holes.
The initial prototype run of 100-off units will see us paint the stock white covers and then pad printing the clients logo on the front. Production volumes of 1000-off units will see us invest in a custom coloured ABS capped acrylic raw material to remove the paint process, achieving improvements in environmental resistance, reducing lead-time and of course cost.
We're just awaiting pictures of our die cast tooling for the main body so watch this space.
